We’re looking for an individual who can bring assured leadership across the full spectrum of our work. We have major housing development underway – estimated at £20m - £30m of investment in the next two years. A number of high-profile environmental projects are also in the pipeline – these include restoration and maintenance projects, while also ensuring environmental sustainability is central to our design and development of new homes. And we continue to promote the borough as a great place to invest and do business – creating opportunity for our community and supporting a successful local economy.
Our most recent LGA peer review confirmed that Broxtowe is a high-performing council, so there are excellent foundations to build on. We are lucky to have talented and dedicated staff in all areas of our work, and a positive culture that is founded on a sense of common purpose and opportunity. We will look to our new Chief Executive to ensure clarity of direction in a period of wider sector change, so that we continue to live up to the promises that we make and our unwavering commitment to delivering excellent public service to our residents.
