The Council
The Council’s corporate plan outlines our vision of a greener, safer, healthier Broxtowe where everyone prospers and sets out five key priorities to support this aim:

- Business Growth: invest in our towns and people
- Environment: protect the environment for the future
- Community Safety: a safe place for everyone
- Leisure and Health: healthy and supported communities
The Chief Executive is joined on the Council’s senior leadership team by a Deputy and four other directors:

- Director of Housing, Environmental Health & Communities
- Director of Planning & Economic Development
The Council currently employs approximately 545 people working across a wide range of disciplines. We are an organisation made up of a diverse set of people and a diverse range of skills and experiences, but we all work together to fulfil our GREAT organisation values:

The current political administration is made up as follows:
- Broxtowe Alliance - 19
- Conservatives - 10
- Labour - 7
- Liberal Democrat - 3
- Broxtowe Independent Group (BIG) - 5
The Leader of the Council is Cllr Milan Radulovic MBE.
